In the original article, the third paragraph of the main text has updated. Currently it reads as
"they agree that the fact that having an over-optimistic belief about your own chances of recovery could give you a reason to bring about or to cultivate such a belief—say, by not listening to the doctors and instead reading optimistic stories about recovery."
It should read instead as follows:
"they agree that a higher chance for recovery could give you a reason to bring about or to cultivate a belief that you will recover—say, by not listening to the doctors and instead reading optimistic stories about recovery."
