Extraction of Phytin from Rice-Grain Processing Byproducts

Rice bran contains significant amounts of phosphorus compounds as inositol hexaphosphoric acid or its mixed Ca and Mg salts (phytin). The patterns of phytin extraction from rice bran and the possibility of further optimization of the technological process were studied.
