Abstract
Saponins have been isolated by means of alkaline extraction from table beetroot. It is established that the introduction of a preliminary extraction stage eliminates the problem of removal of lipophilic components. Primary estimates of the adaptogen activity of beetroot saponins have been obtained by the method of external adverse factor.
