Abstract
The effect of bayakon preparation from the above-ground parts of Baikal monkshood (Aconitum baicalensis Turcz ex Rapaics) on thyroid gland function has been studied in rats with experimental hypo- and hyperthyroidism. The preparation corrects the production of thyroid hormones T3 and T4, as well as TTH secretion, to the normal levels.
