Abstract
This research paper proposes a novel technique of asymmetric cryptosystem to secure the digital color images using the QZS algorithm and random modulus decomposition (RMD). The QZS algorithm is performed on two color channels of RGB image and gets the single channel image which is randomized later by using the scrambling scheme proposed by us. RMD is performed on it to obtain the final encrypted image. Some statistical analyses like MSE, PSNR, SSIM, histogram, entropy, differential attacks and cropping attacks are performed to test the robustness of the proposed method. The proposed method is compared with some state-of-the-art methods of digital image security.
