Abstract

Optical soliton solutions and other analytic solutions for sixth order dispersive nonlinear Schrödinger equation with Kerr law nonlinearity are investigated using modified extended direct algebraic method. Bright soliton solutions, dark soliton solutions, bright-dark soliton solutions, singular soliton solutions, periodic solutions and hyperbolic solutions are extracted. Moreover, some selected solutions are illustrated graphically to show the physical nature of obtained solutions.
