  • Published:
Neuroscience and Behavioral Physiology Aims and scope Submit manuscript

We present here the generalized characteristics of diagnostic difficulties in relation to early autistic disorders in children, along with the main differential diagnostic signs allowing mild forms of infantile autism diagnosed as Asperger’s syndrome to be distinguished from infantile schizophrenia, residual organic CNS damage, and cyclic affective disorders.
