Abstract

This paper presents a readable H.265/HEVC data hiding method. First, three conditions of the directions of intra-frame prediction and the multi-coefficients are given to avert intra-frame distortion drift. Then, the message is embedded into the multi-coefficients of the 4 × 4 luminance DST blocks of the selected frames which meet the specific conditions. The experimental results show that this data hiding algorithm can effectively avert intra-frame distortion drift and get good visual quality.
