Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

The methods of microscopic and x-ray spectrum analysis are used to study nonmetallic inclusions in ingots and shapes from alloy AD31 and in the initial materials and products of interaction between the melt and the furnace fluxes and lining with the aim to determine the sources of contamination of the melt and effective fluxes for their removal.
