Problems of Weldability of Parts Made of Austinitic Steel 12Kh18N10T and the Precision Alloy 29NK

  • WELDED JOINTS
  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

Welded joints of parts made of austenitic steel 12Kh18N10T and the precision alloy 29NK in which defects in the form of cracks arise are studied. It is established that the welds appears to be inhomogeneous in terms of chemical composition and grain size. It is shown that different factors that determine the magnitude of the stresses and deformations in welded joints influence the formation of cracks.
