Isothermal and thermokinetic diagrams are worked out for the decomposition of supersaturated solid solution of for heat treated alloy V91 of the Al – Zn – Mg – Cu system. Curves for these diagrams correspond to the start of forming GP zones, metastable T′ and stable phases (T, η). An isothermal diagram for the alloy is plotted from the results of hardness and corrosion rate determination. Critical cooling rates are determined for alloy V91 from the diagrams obtained.
