Nature of the multistage transformation in shape memory alloys upon heating

  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

The processes developing in shape memory alloys due to heating with application of load and without the latter are investigated. The accompanying multistage reverse martensitic transformation is studied by the method of differential scanning calorimetry. The causes of the multistage transformation are analyzed.
