Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

The degree of degradation of structural and mechanical characteristics of two-layer steel 16GS + 08Kh13 after long-term operation is determined. The causes of embrittlement of the clad layer upon interaction between the metal and the working medium of the device (hydrocarbons) are studied.
