Phase diagrams of the Al – Cr – Ti system are studied using physicochemical methods, i.e., x-ray phase, local x-ray spectrum, chemical, microdiffraction, and differential thermal analyses and hardness measurement. The results are used to plot an isothermal section of the Al – Cr – Ti phase diagram at 770 K in the range of titanium concentrations of 0 – 25 at.% and polythermal sections from a binary TiAl3 – CrAl7 section and a ray section with Cr : Ti = 3 : 1.
