Special features of rod from steel Sv-08KhG2SMF

  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

The fine structure of rod from alloy steel Sv-08KhG2SMF used for making coppered wire for manual and machine welding without expensive softening heat treatment after individual heating in the stage of wire production is studied. The study is performed with the use of light, transmission, and scanning electron microscopy.
