Development of heat treatment regimes for preparing a fine-grained structure

  • Published:
Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

The effect of different heat treatment schemes on the formation of a fine-grained structure in structural steels is studied. Methods are demonstrated for suppressing reverse temper brittleness, increasing toughness and reducing the steel cold brittleness threshold.
