The microstructure of the surface layer of a TiC/NiCr cermet is studied after irradiating it with electron beams with different energy densities and lengths of the irradiation pulses. The regular features of structure formation in the surface layer of the cermet are studied depending in the modes of the electron-pulse treatment.
