Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

A raster-interference device for use in experimental investigation of the guidance errors of measuring instruments at the illuminance extremum of a spatial scale formed by a union of rasters is considered. A converter with combined scanning, compensation, interpolation, and guidance functions as well as a precision digital extremal photoelectric counting interpolation system intended for measurements of linear and angular displacements is proposed.
