Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

A high-voltage subnanosecond field-generating system based on a TEM-cell with a split potential electrode is developed and investigated for providing metrological support for instruments for measuring the parameters of high-power rapid-rising electromagnetic pulses. This system, together with a standard, reproduces electromagnetic pulses with an amplitude of up to 300 kV/m (800 A/m) with a rise time of not greater than 100 psec.
