Reconstruction of 3D Profile of a Deformed Metallic Plate by Means of the Image Pattern Correlation Technique

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Results of experimental studies on the application of the image pattern correlation technique for reconstruction of the 3D profile of a deformed surface for the case of bending of a metallic plate are presented. An algorithm for digital processing of experimental images is developed and implemented. A comparison of the results of measurements performed by means of the proposed method with the results of direct measurements is given.
