A new method for the separate determination of the parameters of two-component two-terminal electric circuits from instantaneous values of two transients is considered. A version of a device which uses this method is proposed. The results of an analysis of the effect of quantization of instantaneous values of the transients on the error in measuring the parameters are presented.
