A New Method of Calibration of Nozzles for Flow Metering Gas Installations

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

A new method of calibration of nozzles for flow metering gas installations is proposed. Experimental studies of the method on an installation with the Vitoshinsky nozzle are carried out. It is shown that the values of the expanded uncertainty in measurements of the flow coefficient of the nozzle do not exceed ±0.1%, i.e., it is one-half that of first-grade working standards.
