Entropy Scale for Heart Rate Regulation in Healthy Individuals

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

We have developed methods for measurements, systems analysis, and processing of electrocardiographic information, letting us reliably and quantitatively classify the levels of the physical functional state according to the stress level in the heart rate regulatory systems. The results obtained have been systematized on an entropy scale for human heart rate regulation. We introduce the concept of the normal condition of the functional state in heart rate control mode.
