A standard radiator for the metrological backup of radiation thermometry

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

A standard radiator in the form of a model of an absolutely black body, designed to provide a metrological backup for radiation thermometry in the 100–1250°C temperature range, is described. The construction of the instrument is considered and its technical and metrological characteristics are given.
