The boundary value problem of heat conduction for multilayer systems, on the outer surfaces of which boundary conditions of the third kind exist, is formulated in general form. A solution of the problem at the stage of regular thermal conditions of the first kind is presented. A general approach to the use of the theory of solutions of Sturm–Liouville problems for multilayer systems is described when developing methods of measuring the thermal characteristics.
