Time interval generator based on Fabry–Perot standard

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

The use of a Fabry–Perot standard as generator of time marks in multiple reflections of an ultra-short pulse of laser radiation for the surface of the standard is considered. Experiments with standards possessing different reflectances are performed. A method of equalization of the intensities of the laser beams replicated in the standard is proposed.
