Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

It is proposed that a precision thermal receiver constructed as a trap detector and consisting of “elementary” thermal receivers be used to create a comparison standard for the power of optical radiation, The measurement problem is formulated for an individual “elementary” receiver with respect to radiation and convective heat losses and the components of the error caused by the zonal sensitivity and linearity of the receiver is calculated.
