Multivalued measures of thermal conductivity for the 20–500 W/(m·K) range

  • Thermal Measurements

Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

A new method of determining the thermal conductivity, based on the use of a new class of measuring instrument, namely, teplostats and multivalued measures of thermal conductivity and A-4 standard equipment, developed at the All-Russia Research Institute of Metrology, is described, which enables one, using these measures, to reproduce the unit of thermal conductivity at any point in the 20–500 W/(m·K) range. The expected overall uncertainty in reproducing the unit in this range does not exceed 1.2%.
