An optical system and technique for position testing of segments of the compound parabolic mirror of the radio telescope of the millimetron space observatory

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

An optical system and technique for position testing of segments of the compound parabolic mirror of the telescope of the Millimetron space observatory are proposed. Results of an analysis of the testing precision assured by the proposed technique are presented and recommendations for practical implementation of the technique are given.
