A method of measuring the temperatures of a flame and of powder particles in it and also their flight velocities in a gas-flame jet by a photoemission method when depositing coatings is described. An estimate is made of the temperature dynamics of the objects being investigated. The time resolution is 5 μsec and the velocity is 76 m/sec.
