Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

A generalized block diagram is presented and the requirements imposed on the main units of the tracking heterodyne of a sequential-action spectrum analyzer are determined. A method of generating the tracking-heterodyne signal is considered, which enables the error to be reduced considerably and enables the dynamic range of the measurement of the characteristics of linear radio devices to be extended.
