Abstract

A fast digital algorithm for measuring correlation and cross-correlation functions is presented. The algorithm is based on the use of sign-function analog-stochastic quantization of samples of the random processes being investigated. Block diagrams of multichannel digital correlometers for operational correlation analysis are given.
