Abstract
Various methods are considered for recovering geofield parameters (algebraic polynomials, filters, and so on), and it is shown to be possible for software packages to be employed by users without a deep knowledge of the theory and programming. Recommendations are made on method choice and the control parameters in preparing to simulate surfaces and map geofield parameters. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are examined at various stages in the recovery. It is shown that neuron nets are preferable at an early stage, when the volume of information is limited.
