Method for measuring the resonant frequency of an oscillating system

  • Published:
Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Abstract

A method for measuring the resonant frequency of an oscillating system providing high accuracy under low Q-factor conditions and a distorted form of amplitude-frequency characteristic of the oscillating system is proposed. A structural diagram of the device is described and time charts are provided explaining the operating principle and advantages of the proposed method.
