The objectives of the study discussed in this article were to analyze production data and construct regression models that can describe the changes in the concentrations of manganese and silicon in reinforcement steel during its treatment outside the steelmaking furnace. The results that are obtained can be used to devise a new technological scheme for the ladle treatment of reinforcement steels at mini-mills.
