Comparison of the parameters of ferrosilicon-smelting furnaces with different electrode spacings

  • Published:
Metallurgist Aims and scope

The parameters of ferroalloy furnaces with different electrode spacings are examined. The variants that are discussed for modernizing standard ferroalloy furnaces having the traditional spacing entail increasing the spacing to improve the technical-economic and energy characteristics of the furnace.
