Abstract
An estimate is given of the magnitude of the radial forces acting on the working cone and sizing section of a draw plate in relation to the values of the main parameters in the shaping operation (the draft and friction’ the angle of the working cone’ counter-tension’ and the strain-hardening coefficient of the metal being processed).
