Abstract

This article examines the commercial production of the following three types of products: round wire and rectangular bars of high-resistivity alloy nichrome Kh20N80; round soft-annealed wire of alloy CuZn36 for export, this alloy being similar in composition to brass L63 but having a narrower strength range and a regulated grain size; a series of electrical-grade copper bars, including semi-hard busbars for export, hard busbars with a superior surface finish, busbars with narrow faces having fully rounded edges, and soft-annealed bars with a thickness and width considerably greater than the thickness and width specified by the corresponding GOST standard.
