Retraction Note to: Metabolic Brain Disease (2014) 29:873–883
The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article. Concerns were raised regarding a number of figures, specifically:
-
Fig. 2A: sections of the B-Actin blot appear to be identical to sections of the B-Actin blots in Figs. 2B and 2C
-
Fig. 2B: sections of the CatD blot appear to be identical to the Bc1 1200 section of the blot in Fig. 2D
-
Fig. 2B: the CatD 350 section of the blot appears to be identical to the Bc1 550 blot of Fig. 2D
-
Fig. 2B: a section of the CatD blot appears to be identical to the Bc1 350 blot of Fig. 2D
-
Fig. 2C: the two left most blots of of the B-Actin blot appear to be identical to the two right most blots of the same figure
The Editor-in-Chief therefore no longer have confidence in the results reported in this article.
Bruce J. Brew, Nibaldo C. Inestrosa, Roger Chung, Perminder Sachdev and Gilles J. Guillemin agree with this retraction. Nady Braidy has not responded to correspondence regarding this retraction.
