Mathematical Modeling of the Thermal Stress State in a Connection Unit of the Coil Shank End with High-Pressure Heater HP-2500-97 Collector

  • Published:
Materials Science Aims and scope

The thermal stress state of the connecting unit of the shank end of the spiral coil element with a diameter of 32×4 mm with the collector with a diameter of 325×32 mm of HPH-6 and HPH-7 for the operational modes of the power unit with the WWER-1000 reactor is investigated. Its mathematical modeling is carried out, taking into account that temperature changes and stresses depend on the thermophysical and mechanical characteristics of structural materials in the operating conditions of the equipment.
