Delamination of an Element of Reinforcement of the Half Plane Under Cyclic Loading

We study the problem of delamination of a flexible rigid reinforcement layer on the half plane under cyclic stress loading at infinity. The delamination is preceded by the development of localized process zones (zones of weakened contact), which may correspond to the areas of accumulation of defects, partial breaking of the bonds, etc. We obtain analytic expressions for the behavior of the working length of reinforcement depending on the amplitude of the load and the number of loading cycles.
