Notes
Art 41, Chapter IV, PRC Law on the Protection of Minors.
The Supreme Peoples’ Court is used to loosening the statutory standard through judicial interpretations but it soon suspended its ruling because it is criticized for contravening the purposes of the Criminal Law.
It is sad that the newly revised Criminal Procedure Law in 2012 had no touch on this issue.
