Abstract

In this paper, a new sequential method for the separation of transuranic (TRU) and technologically enhanced naturally occurring radioactive materials (TENORM) radionuclides has been proposed. The Eichrom TEVA resin was used for the separation of Po, Pu, Th and Np, while Am and U were separated using TRU resin. The method was validated by analyzing several environmental and oil field wastewater samples.
