Abstract

K-shell X-ray intensity ratios for some elements Sb, Cs, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy and Ho have been measured experimentally. The elements were excited by 59.5 keV γ-ray from 100 mCi 241Am radioactive source. The characteristic K X-rays emitted by samples were detected by using a hyper pure germanium detector. The experimental results were compared with theoretical predictions reported by several authors.
