THE MATRIX RENEWAL EQUATION ON THE WHOLE LINE WITH SUBMULTIPLICATIVE INHOMOGENEOUS TERM

Abstract

We consider the matrix renewal equation on the whole line, whose kernel is a nonlattice matrix measure. The inhomogeneous term behaves like a submultiplicative function up to a constant vector. Asymptotic properties of the solution are established depending on the asymptotics of the submultiplicative function.
