A remark on renormalization of the quantum equation of motion for the matrix sigma model

Abstract

The infinite part of a 1-prong vertex for the matrix σ-model is calculated in the background field formalism in one-loop approach. It is shown that renormalizations of the quantum equation of motion and effective action coincide if an additional factor is introduced. Bibliography: 7 titles.
