Abstract

The phase transitions in the 5-state 3d site-diluted Potts model are investigated by means of the computer simulation methods. We address systems with liner sizes L × L × L = N, L = 20 ÷ 160 at p = 1.00, 0.90, 0.85, and 0.80. Based on the analysis of the fourth-order Binder cumulants and the histogram data analysis, the position of the tricritical point at the phase diagram is determined.
