On the Role of the Hyperfine Field Anisotropy in the Formation of a Single-Pulse NMR Spin Echo in Cobalt

Abstract

In this work, we show that the single-pulse echo in cobalt is formed by the exciting radio-frequency pulse edges distortion mechanism due to mainly hyperfine field anisotropy beginning with a certain value of radio-frequency pulse power. Before this threshold radio-frequency power, the single-pulse echo is formed by nonresonant mechanism as in lithium ferrite.
