Correction: Journal of Porous Materials
In Table 2 of this article, the data in the fifth column headed “References”, the citations for references were listed incorrectly from 4th row as 63. 64. 65. 66. 67. 68 and 38. Instead, it should be 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, and 68.
Also under the ‘’Results and discussion’’ section under the heading ‘’3.1 Characterization of raw untreated Hal clay’’ in the first paragraph the reference citations in the sentence ‘’The prominent diffraction peaks for the raw clay appear at 12.2°, 20° and 24.6° which correspond to the crystallographic orientation of (001), (020) and (002) planes respectively [39]. The refection at °2θ = 12.2° has a basal spacing of 7.16 Å which can be assigned to the dehydrated form of Hal [40]. This refection arises from the tubular morphology, high degree of disorder and small crystal size.’’ has been corrected to ‘’The prominent diffraction peaks for the raw clay appear at 12.2°, 20° and 24.6° which correspond to the crystallographic orientation of (001), (020) and (002) planes respectively [38].
