Abstract
The basic regularities are presented for filtration transfer of stratal water and gas in front of free surface moving in a coal seam at a constant assigned velocity. The influence exerted by natural water saturation of seam on the size of arising permeable zone and the character of gas pressure distribution in it is estimated.
